Hi my name is Angela Ingram Mitchell. I am the owner and operator of PreKology. I am a mommy to three beautiful little human beings and two rotten German Shepherds. They motivate me everyday to show up and be my best self! I am a daughter, sister, auntie and friend. I love my family and am so grateful for them!
I studied Deaf Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I have been in the childcare field for over 15 years and have held many positions—assistant teacher, lead teacher, childcare coordinator and director. I have been successfully operating PreKology since 2016.
My ideal day is sleeping in, watching The Golden Girls or documentaries, an afternoon of shopping at the Farmers Market and Hobby Lobby. I love diet coke, sparkling water, sushi, all things polka dotted, rainbow, leopard print and monogrammed! I enjoy gardening as well.
I take pride in every aspect of my program. From each child and family I meet, to every lesson I teach, to each meal I prepare. I believe that early education is the heart of a child’s educational success. It is an important building block in their educational journey. Preschool can be fun, educational and developmentally appropriate! When we provide a rich environment full of developmentally appropriate tools, lessons and interactions, we are building the leaders of the future.
In my classroom I promise to love and respect your child. I will help them grow not only academically but most importantly, socially and emotionally.

It is my goal for students enrolled in my program to develop the character and skills to become lifelong eager learners and successful in life both socially and academically.
