I thrive on making my classroom a warm and inviting space for my little learners to explore and create! The materials evolve as our themes do. All of the activities are developmentally appropriate, hands on, engaging and fun. I believe personalized lesson plans for each child’s development is key. No one child learns the same as another and I am here to accommodate that. My PreK program offers a more structured and challenging curriculum based on where your child is developmentally.
In my classroom, I understand that children learn best through play and experiences. They learn by doing, creating, getting messy, asking lots of questions and problem solving with their peers. They learn by using their imaginations, pretend play with friends, playing games, expressing their emotions, and exploring the world around them.
I facilitate this in my program by being intentional about setting up play activities and explorations that meet the needs of all of my students. I aim to organize my classroom and plan so that my little learners can learn and develop in the areas of Math, Reading and Literacy, Science, Creative Arts and emotionally/socially as well as gross motor and fine motor.
I provide high quality care, materials and instruction to each child that enrolls into my program.
